Air India Mandates Drug Screening For All Pilots After AI-2379 Pilot Tests Positive For Marijuana

Air India has introduced compulsory psychoactive drug screening for all flight crew after the AI-2379 Phuket-Delhi incident in which the pilot-in-command tested positive for marijuana. Air India Express has also launched a confidential self-declaration drive for substance misuse. The move comes as aviation authorities review stricter drug testing rules for airlines.
